I don't froth a lot of milk or measure its temp--i just love the length of the stem and the way this is so easily calibrated. I use it as an all-purpose instant read thermometer. I'm sure it's great for its stated purpose as well!

Recalibration is easy with the new recalibration tool on sheath. Just immerse the thermometer in sheath in at least two inches of ice water, then use the calibration tool to adjust the hex nut beneath the dial to 34F. Recalibration can also be reached through immersion in boiling water and adjusting to the appropriate temperature.
